CACAO IS AMAZING
When we started to work with cacao we already knew something about it but this plant never stoped to surprise us. So much that we decided to launch a whole new Cacao range.
There is a perfect mix for everyone. When developing the recipe for Cacao kids we had a bunch of young and motivated guys at our loft who tested, critiqued (very very honestly) and finally approved the recipe we were constantly changing due to their comments and recommendations.
We only use high quality, organic cacao for our new range. There is 100% dark cacao for the real cacao lover, 70% cacao mix with quinoa, maca and panela for the perfect breakfast of the real millennial and Cacao Kids for our little superstars!.

Cacao has been used since ancient times by the mayans, aztecs and olmecs. In the 15th century cacao came to Europe where it was mainly used to produce chocolate.
Today there are tons of cacao beans produced every year. It has a wide range of proven health benefits, whereas the most important benefit is its taste. Super healthy and super tasty… what else do we want? In case of cacao, there is a loooot more!!!
Another beneficial ingredient of cacao are flavonoids which help you to have a healthy heart.
Last but not least, there is theobromine which
influences in a positive way our mood and our state of alertness. We guess you don’t need a scientific proof for that. Even if it existed. Chocolate enhances our mood. Who hasn’t experienced the chocolate effect on a really bad day?.
Cacao is high in several minerals like magnesium, copper, potassium, and iron.
Magnesium, copper, and potassium help to protect your heart amongst others, Iron is important for energy metabolism as well as a healthy blood.
We were talking all of the time about cacao. But isn’t it cocoa? What is the difference between cacao and cocoa?
Cacao and cocoa derive from the same raw material. The cocoa tree. Even if the starting point is the same, the final product is very different. Cacao keeps all the ingredients that deliver the health benefits we just mentioned. Cocoa undergoes a lot of processing on its way. These processes partially destroy the healthy ingredients. So if you have the opportunity, always go for cacao instead of cocoa.
