Cran-Pom Supersauce:

This healthy variation of traditional Cranberry sauce is a perfect side dish for any type of meat. Traditional cranberry sauce is very high in sugar and calories. Our Cran-Pom supersauce is healthy, delicious and full of nutrients, protein and antioxidants apart from a delicious taste. 


Ingredients: (8 servings)

250ml apple cider

60g pitted dates

750g fresh or frozen cranberries

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 scoop OkamiBio Pomegranate Protein Powder


Put cider and dates in a blender and blend until smooth. Add cranberries and Pomegranate protein powder and blend again until mixed well. Serve with meat or fish.

Wake-up Superbowl with Chia Seeds:

A lot of families gather together for a Holiday-Brunch. This recipe is not only particularly tasty but also helps to fill up with healthy nutrients and not get stuffed at the same time. And if that wasn't enough, especially kids love it. Full of Vitamin A, C, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium and Zinc it will nurture our body with energy for a sleigh ride or a christmas walk with the whole family. 


Ingredients: (1 serving)

150g Greek yoghurt

½ Kiwi

½ Orange

½ Banana

1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Scoop OkamiBio Wake-up

 

Mix yogurt with Chia Seeds, Cinnamon and Wake-up. Batter until well mixed and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Chop fruits and add before serving.

Extreme Energy Christmas-Apple-sake

What would a Christmas Dinner be without dessert? What happens quite often is that even a tiny bit of dessert is enough to make you feel totally stuffed, feeling uncomfortable and tired. Such thing will not happen with our Extreme-Energy-Apple-Sake. This cake is a sake for every dessert loving foodie out there. It is gluten free, lactose free and packed with healthy energy sources like maca, guarana and ginseng. IF you think dessert will make you feel tired and sluggish, this cake will just cause the opposite. 


Ingredients:

2 Apples

2 Eggs

1 tsp Baking powder

1 tsp Cinnamon

100g Almond flour + 1 Tbsp. OkamiBio Extreme Energy

150g Coconut sugar

1 tsp Vanilla

1/2 cup Coconut oil


Mix coconut sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon and add to eggs. Beat until smooth. Put coconut oil in the microwave for 30-60s until liquid. Add coconut oil very slowly to the egg-sugar mix while mixing (one drop at a time).  Put together almond flour and Extreme Energy and add to the batter. Place the batter in a greased baking dish, cut apples in thin slices and put on top of the batter. 

Preheat the oven to 180ºC, bake the cake for about 30-40 min.

Pumpkin Supersoup with Antiox

Pumpkin goes with christmas meals in one word. A hearty pumpkin soup is not only delicious but also a super healthy dish. It warms you up when it’s cold outside and nurtures your body perfectly. To give it an extra antioxidant kick, we add a spoon of Super Antiox that is rich in Vitamins A, C and E, Iron and Magnesium. 


Ingredients: (6 servings)

1 kg Pumpkin (try Hokkaido) peeled and chopped into chunks

2 stalks of Leek

750ml bone broth (can sub for vegetable broth)

150ml Coconut milk

2 Tbsp. Olive oil

2 Tbsp. OkamiBio Super Antiox

1 Tsp. Curry powder

100g Roasted pumpkin seeds 


Chop pumpkin and leek. Heat olive oil in a pot or a large saucepan. Add leek until light brown (5-7 minutes), add pumpkin and frye for another 5-7 minutes, stir frequently. Add broth, bring to the boil, then simmer for 10-20 mins or until the squash is soft. Take it from the oven and purée with a hand blender. Add coconut milk, curry powder and Super Antiox and mix well. 

Spread with roasted pumpkin seeds (place them in the oven for 5-10 minutes so they are warm and crunchy).
